Project U-Turn
Project U-Turn is a citywide campaign (launched in 2006) to focus on the city's dropout crisis and to design strategies to resolve it. The website includes download links for several reports and articles about the out-of-school youth crisis.
Making Good on a Promise This report (published in 2006) by Jobs for the Future explores the national out-of-school youth problem, and puts forth new insights and solutions.
Life After YouthBuild
In September 2003, researchers at Brandeis University and Temple University (including YouthBuild Philadelphia's current Board Chair, Dr. Erin McNamara Horvat and Board member Dr. James Davis) completed Life After YouthBuild, a study on almost 900 YouthBuild graduates, designed to find out their progress and how they evaluate their YouthBuild experiences.
