Our Program
YouthBuild Philadelphia’s program includes a diploma track, vocational training (construction, technology and nursing) and community service. In addition, the school provides students with resources and support systems to maneuver the program, develop a sense of empowerment, and transition to full-time jobs and post-secondary educational and training programs.

Duration
YouthBuild Philadelphia enrolls 200 students per year. Participants are divided into two groups that spend alternate six-week sessions in the classroom and the worksite. Students function on a five-day, 10-month schedule from September to June (with time off during select holidays and seasonal events).

Weekly Program Hours:

Monday to Thursday – 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Friday – 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
